CHENNAI: Solutionstar, a company which provides technology and data-enhanced solutions to consumers, real estate agents and companies engaged in mortgage loans, has opened a development and delivery centre in Chennai.
The centre is expected to house about 2,000 employees and will help develop technology innovation.
The senior management team is already in place and the company plans to recruit 1,000 employees by the close of 2015, a statement from the company has said.
About 50% of the employees at the centre will be college graduates and the rest, lateral hires.
“We plan to introduce a number of new technology products and services in the coming months. Given the talent and expertise available here, I am confident that this facility will play a significant role in our company’s ongoing commitment to ‘Real Estate Made Easy’,” Kal Raman, CEO of the company, said.
Manikandan Sundaram will be the vice-president and general manager of the office in Chennai, and Prabhakar Pakalpati has been appointed the vice-president of operations at the centre.
